The Colour of Sustainability

National Bank of Australia, Melbourne Docklands. Nov. 2008. Ajr
Meet NAB – the headquarters of the National Bank of Australia, also known as National@Docklands. It’s one of the lower-rise buildings of the Docklands area but no less impressive for that. Designed by James Grose of Bligh Voller Nield, the 60,000 square metre, 4-star energy-rated building features a number of innovative sustainable design features that make it a leader in the field. In 2005 it won the Royal Institute of Architects National Interiors award. I love its multi-coloured façade.
